Altered Mixed Media Project - DREAM

Hello Everyone ...Hope You all are doing good

Sharing my Latest Project with you all which is a Mixed Media Altered Project - Dream

i have made a Mixed media Altered Project named Dream whose inspiration I have taken from the quote “Your wings already exist, all you have to dream and fly”. Here, my focal point is a butterfly.

Let me share few glimpses of my project with you all

So the steps to make this are as follows:

First of all I applied Texture paste with script stencil on the base.

After that I wrap a twine on the base vertically

Also pasted Crochet lace on the base with the help of Fabric Glue

After that I pasted newspaper cylinder in vertical manner at the center of the base and applied few chipboard cutout of wreath and Butterfly

After that I coloured the whole base with black gesso

After that did dry brushing with metallic colours

Also Applied Gold metallic wax to highlight relief areas

After that I applied Gold Leaf for added interest in the composition.

Art Journal Page - Bon Voyage

Hello everyone
Presenting with you all my next Journal Page ...Hope you all like it
So this one is a Travel theme Journal Page where I have used Stamping extensively

For the Process  I have made a collage with the torn pattern paper. 

Then applied a thin layer of Gesso here and there 

Then applied texture paste with stencil on the lower side of page like stone effect. 

After that applied light layer of watercolour with blue and brown colour. 

Then afterwards when the base is ready I stamped the suitcase stamp with Bonvoyage sentiment on another white cardstock and then coloured it with watercolours 

Lastly, stamped the whole background with different travel theme stamps from Itsybitsy 

And My Journal page is ready

Art Journal Cover - Treasured Memory

Hello all crafty People 

How Are you ??

Today I am sharing one of my fav projects till now which is an altered art journal cover with You all 

This one I have made in a typical Mixed media style where I have used small knick knack which I found in my house. I would like to call this project as a #trashtotreasure one …

As for the process 

1. First of all I have painted the whole cover with black Gesso to prepare the base 

2. After that I created the background with Doing the stenciling part with the help of texture paste 

3. Also Adhered all the elements like burlap, Some random MDF cutout, Scrap toy pieces, Some art stones and few paper flowers to complete the composition. 

4. Next step was to paint the whole composition in black with black Gesso again 

Also I added few more elements like a #treasuredmemory sentiment and some chipboard cutout later on. 

5. Last step was to do the Dry brushing technique with the help of metallic colours in Teal, blue and Golden to finish the project. 

Sharing some final pictures with you all

Art Journal Page - Change

This is a self reminder to me everytime u want to crave for a next step in life …
Hello everyone …
hope that u are all well and doing good
Today I made another art journal
sharing the pics with you all

 So for this layout I first adhered paper from a magazine in a horizontal manner.
After that applied white gesso here and there and created texture with the help of stencil and texture paste .
Also used watercolor with dripping technique to put some color and interest in the background.

 After that pasted a hand written sentiment on a vintage paper from an old book.
On the other side of the Journal adhered a stamped floral stamp design .

Smile Postcard

Hello Creative Souls
How are you ….hope you all are doing good

So Presenting to u a Postcard I made

So for this Postcard I have used a 4 by 6 inch white cardstock
First of all I adhered torn page of an old book in a random manner
After that used texture paste to create a stone background on the upper half of the postcard
After the texture got dry I used watercolour to create a withered effect and used distress inks also
Did some stamping with script stamp and Diamond stamp from Mudra
After the background is created adhered few rose cutout from my stash and also paste the Smile Sentiment
Also attached a stack of tags at the corner of the postcard to create interest ..

Gift Tag using Julie Nutting doll stamp " Kate"

Hello Creative People …
Hope you guys are doing good ….

So next in the series of these Prima marketing stamp is "Kate". 

As far as procedure of making this gift tag ...I have followed the following steps 

1. Stamped the doll on a white coloured card stock and cut it with the help of a scissor. 

2. Used the doll stamp again to stamp the doll's clothes and shoes on a colorful paper to make her dress ...and then cut them out also 

3. Colour the skin of the doll with desired skin colour with the help of watercolours.. and this time I have stamped them also with a script stamp to give a vintage look to it. 

4. Adhere the dress and shoes of the doll on top of the white background. You can use foam tape to give dimension on the pockets of dress and hairband ...now your doll is ready..

5. We need to create a cardstock background and in this one I have used distress inks and archival ink on top of it to make the same and then adhered a coloured doily with few chipboard cutout to create that vintage feel to it 

6. Lastly, comes the assembling part... u can use different embellishments like paper flowers, wooden cutouts, die cuts and other nick knack to complete the look...as it all depends upon your creativity.

Gift Tag using Julie nutting Doll stamp " Cally"

Hello Creative People …
How are you people doing ….I am very excited to share this particular creation of mine...using Julie nutting doll stamp from Prima marketing..
So these stamp sets has a name and the one I am showcasing today is named "Cally".

As far as procedure of making this gift tag ...I have followed the following steps 

1. Stamped the doll on a white coloured card stock and cut it with the help of a scissor.

Art Journal Page - Forever

Hello all creative people …

This is Shweta and thank you all to stop and look over my blog post 

Today I am sharing a page of my Art Journal with you all 

So the steps to create this art journal is as follow

1. Prime the Journal page with a white gesso 

2. Used Itsybitsy Stencil with texture paste from camel to make texture on either side of the journal 

3. After drying, took watercolor in blue and brown to create that texture background. 

4. After this layer is dry … took a  Mudra stamp named vintage flourishes to mark the stampings on the outer edge of the journal page ...randomly. 

5. Also used Hexa stamp from Mudra  here and there to create a honey comb effect. 

6. Lastly used Script stamp with brown Archival Ink from Ranger to complete the background 

7. Now comes the turn to put embellishments so adhered a vintage clock stamp with foam tape, also put sentiment in the middle of the page, lastly completed the look with adhereing Jute flower from Itsy Bitsy, a little wooden bird cage and few paper foilage to go with it.
